Non-lead is the law for all take in California. Copper does not shoot to the same point of impact as the lead you zeroed in 2019. Confirm it on paper before you walk in.
We run a value copper load that groups inside an inch at 100 in the rifles we actually carry. It is not a match load. It is a hunting load that hits where the crosshairs sit after you do the work.
Do not show up at the range the night before A-zone with a new box and a shrug.
