Chamber vacuum sealer

~$180

Issue #7

No more freezer-burned backstrap in February. Buy the chamber style, skip the suction bags.

A suction-bag sealer fights wet meat and gives up. A chamber sealer pulls air around the bag and seals it anyway. That is the difference between backstrap in February and a beige brick you throw away.

We run one in the shop and one that rides to camp in a tote. Bags are cheap. The machine is the spend. If you kill one deer a year it still pays for itself the first season you do not waste a quarter.

Cool the meat first. Seal once. Label the date and the cut.
