One rooster, worth the drive

We walked two hours for nothing you could put in a vest. The dog started checking in. That was the turn.

The rooster got up on the third pass, canal side, and folded clean. One bird. We ate him that week in the wild rice pot and did not apologize for the drive.

Some hunts are a limit. This one was a reason to go back.
